Our Community Managers have a vital role in the overall success of the Multifamily Apartment Communities in our management portfolio. We are looking for a responsible, detail oriented individual that want to make a difference.

The Community Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the apartment community.

The property manager ensures that the community performs at a high level and achieves company goals. The property manager acts as the ambassador for the community and a representative of both the owner and the management company. A Community Manger must be a strong leader and capable of managing all aspects of daily operations to ensure the property is profitable and meets or exceeds the expectations of the owners and residents. Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills as well as a high level of commitment to occupancy and collections are a must

Community Managers are responsible for day-to-day operations and ensure positive curb appeal (clean communities are a must). Managers identify repairs needed, orchestrate solutions and ensure that repairs are made in a timely, professional manner that is satisfactory to the resident and the building owner. Community Managers direct property operations and staff in the most cost-effective manner.

Community Managers are responsible for Leasing (solid applicant screening), Rent Collections and supervision of staff and vendors.

Community Managers:

  • Property Manager License Required
  • Present oneself as a leader, are honest, reliable and accountable
  • Have excellent organizational skills, time management and great follow up
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication and people management skills.
  • Be great at leasing, have good conversation skills and be able to read people well. Must be able to start a conversation, approach people, and be approachable.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect while serving clients
  • Understand customers' needs and respond to them, connecting them with the right solution
  • Speak in a positive manner about all persons at all times
  • Organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • Be flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
  • Understand Lease Agreement and enforce community policies
  • Good technical skills and command of Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, Docusign, AppFolio experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of objectives, be bottom line oriented and deliver timely results
  • Possess strong leadership skills and effectively recruit the cooperation of staff, residents, vendors and community officials and business neighbors to achieve objectives
  • Work well as a team and independently
  • Communicate concerns to supervisor in writing and detail proposed action plans

Transportation required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
